WOIKKA contemporary is a window gallery located in Voikkaa, Kouvola FI. It was founded as a voluntery project in June 2022 with Meri Hietala and Anniina Salo. Nowadays, in addition to me Anniina Salo, Ria Andrews and Markku Metso works in the group. The gallery consists of two windows at the corner of Voikaantie and Koulutie, enabling very diverse hangings despite its narrow space.
The gallery was founded with the support of Kymin Osakeyhtiö’s 100-year foundation, and now the activity is supported by The Finnish Cultural Foundation, The Kymenlaakso Regional Fund.
